Attending Concerts

To accommodate the large audiences that want to attend our performances, many of the choral concerts are held at the First United Methodist Church in Pasadena. Other concerts are typically held in the La Canada High School Auditorium. To learn more about how to attend one of our concerts, such as parking and ticket purchase/pick up, please see the appropriate section below.

A detailed printable map of the drop-off traffic flow at the church and nearby parking is available:

Drop Off:

The Pasadena First United Methodist Church is located at 500 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91101, however the singers’ entrance is the FUMC side-door off Converse Alley. All singers are expected to arrive in full concert wardrobe, ready to sing. Call time is traditionally 90 minutes before the concert, but may be adjusted for different concerts. See Latest News for current information.

Parking:

FUMC parking lots are for special assistance guests only. There are a number of parking lots (some require payment) and street parking within short walking distance of the church. See the map for details.

Ticketing:

Information about how to buy tickets is available under Latest News prior to each concert.

Two ticket tables are located near the front entrance of the church on Colorado Boulevard. Each table provides the same services:

Pre-order ticket pick-up
Day of concert ticket sales (cash or check)
Program pickup (one per family)

Queuing:

There are two, equal, entrance lines into the church. Each line has access to lower level as well as balcony seating. Doors open approximately 15 minutes prior to concert. Bring an umbrella in case of inclement weather.

Seating:

Seating is first come, first served. Patrons can save only one seat for a late arriving guest. Materials used to save more than one seat will be removed by ushers and volunteers. All seats at FUMC afford quality viewing and listening.

During the Concert:

If you must enter or exit the church during the concert, please do so ONLY BETWEEN SONGS, as doors in the church are quite loud.

Special Assistance Guests:

Ticketing and queuing is available for special assistance guests at the side entrance of the church located off Converse Alley (see map). Bring an umbrella in case of inclement weather. Special Assistance seating is limited, so other members of your group are asked to queue in front of the church for main entrance seating.
